I'll type here due to popular demands (or complaints)...</p><p><strong>THE Recommended Book List. <br /></strong>Here are MY suggestions... some of the books listed seem to brain unstimulating and useless in how it teaches you character (not the characters as in people, character as your whole self!). Of couse, you all know, you are what you read. Read Rubbish and you are rubbish, read junk and you are junk. Read erotica and you are perverse, disturbed violated, slighted, dirty NOT sexy. ok. so read something more your level can? no more nursery rhymes pple pls, no more bobsey twins, no more asterisks, no more tin tin, nor more archies. no more duncan watts. more jane austen. more charles dickens. more ronald dahl for adults. you get the drifts. you don't cheat yourself.</p><p> </p><p><em>Fantasy</em>- Don't read too much of it for you will start, you know, having fantasies... except those i recommend :) <br />My suggestions: Lord of the Rings Trilogy by you-know-who, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis.</p><p><em>Sci-Fi</em>- Read something more down to earth lest you appear out-of-this-world... <br />My suggestion: The Time Machine by H.G Wells (NO, you cannot just watch the movie!).</p><p><em>Mystery</em>- Read too much and later you'll be a mystery to us all. <br />My suggestion: Sherloks Holms by Sir Arthur Conan Dahl or smt like that.... <br /> <br /><em>Comedy</em>- You'll turn out funny! its no joke ok... <br />My suggestions: A Midsummer's Night Dream by William, 12th night, etc. </p><p><em>Fantasy/SciFI/Mystery/Comedy/Fiction (not real)- </em>Your mind will be messed up and thrown into darkness and then you'll become *gasps* ( it's to horrible to even think about it.) <br />My reccomendation (word of caution): <a href="http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2004/0413davinci.asp">The Da Vinci Code </a>by Dan Brown. (BEware be aware, the horrors the horrors!) Go read the <a href="http://www.gospelcom.net/">Bible</a> people, then you read that. see which you believe in then judge for yourself. So word of serious caution. Think hard. You have a choice. YOU really do. <br /> <br /><em>Relationships</em>- Good, hv meaningful relationships, you'll turn out fine... <br />My suggestions: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Tuesdays with Morris, The five People you Meet in Heaven [both] by Mitch Albom, The Friendship Factor, The Diary of Anne Frank by um, anne frank; Shadow of the Almighty (Diary of Jim Elliot) by Elizabeth Elliot, Our Daily Bread, The Grapes of Wrath, To a God Unknown by John Steinbeck. The Outsiders by Albert Camus. From Third World to First by MM LKY.</p><p>Here are some good authors: Graham Greene. John Steinbeck. Thomas Merton. St John of the Cross. John Milton. Don't see it as a good or a bad thing.. See it as the things that make us unique... <br /> <br />1. Gerald Chan- NCC guy.. Feel that I am in a NCC meeting or something when he presents... AV guy of our class, him and daryl.. efficient duo.. even before the teacher says he/she wants the visualizer, its already up... <br /> <br />2. Jeremy Chan (Me!)- Science guy.. Top in Chem, Bio and Physics... Don't need to say right? Think I've bad presentation skills, stagger alot.. Not much secrets to my sucess in science.. just listen in class and eat your veggies.. kidding about the veggies.. not scientifically proven YET.. <br /> <br />3. Chan Zhi Hong- Music guy... Grade 8 pianist (I think, correct me if I'm wrong Zhi Hong) part of the winning team "Something" of talent time... Composed out the whole "this love" song himself.. perfect pitch ma... anything related to music, ask him.. <br /> <br />4. Chang Lian Jie aka horny- NPPC guy.. always seeing him doing his NPCC stuff.. committed to it.. participates actively in "in school" and "outside school" activities... took part in the fuel cell workshop with me.. talks horny in class... sex etc... not much of an academic guy... don't want to pick on him or anything, just leave it as that... <br /> <br />5. Jason Chia- Over-all smart guy... Lost out to Yubin in the end of years... Always asking lotsa questions in class.. Speaks quite softly, don't know how the teachers can hear... I can't... Drawn at midyear with Yubin... Kinda "short" too... Often gets picked on by Daryl, Jun Feng and basically the whole class... Zhi Hong too, rubbing his hair, saying his "cute" haha... <br /> <br />6. Chua Ming Wei- Chinese guy.. well, the only one in the whole sec 3 to take higher chinese.. top in higher chinese (duh)... over-all his chinese the best in our class.. part of chinese chess club... don't really know much about him though... <br /> <br />7. Goh Heng Tee- Games guy.. always asking jia qing and gang to play warcraft with him.. if you ever talk to him, you'll know... no prizes for guessing what his favourite conversation topic is.. think he is jealous of me... calls me a genius... mainly because he studies so hard and gets so little, while I study so little get so much... <br /> <br />8. Jeremy John- Questions guy- rivals Jason in question asking... however, his questions differ greatly from Jason's... Kinda lame questions.. Rethorical questions.. Questions that the answer is obvious and the question is redundant... Also smart... Top 5 here... Vice-president of the choir.. <br /> <br />9. Dave Lee- White guy- Ok, thats discrimination... but he's "whiter" than the rest... Less tan... His pic is on the blog go find and see for yourself.. Tries to give smart answers and comments.. Hard-working, another of the smarties... Part of the scrabble team... although not the same team as me... <br /> <br />10. David Lee- Talent guy... Although they have the same surname... not related to each other.. altough Yubin makes fun of David by calling him brothers to Dave.. 1/3 of "something" has a great voice... also his acting is good too... can be funny when he wants to, serious when he wants to.. Vice class chairman of 3E1... Lotsa teachers mis-call him Samuel, his older brother... Graduated last year.. Looks very similar to his brother... <br /> <br />11. Joachim Leow- Short hair guy.. the hair on his head, not anywhere else... don't think dirty... G.I. hairstyle... Suits him, NCC... Seen him during his NCC practices.. Strict... <br /> <br />12. Januarius Lim aka Jan- O.M Guy... took part in the oddessy of the mind thing... they won in Singapore, went to the US in june.. ain't that cool or what.. Always gets "saboed" to sing during English lessons... Sang "lemon tree" the last time... Also vice-president of the choir... <br /> <br />13. Lim Jiew Ming- Bio guy... can rival me in biology... took part in the NTU attachment along with me, Dave and Elwin... Used to live near my house, moved to Ang Mo Kio years back... <br /> <br />14. Loh Zhen Sheng aka Bryant- Social Studies guy... top in Social Studies for the finals.. also happens to be the Social Studies rep too... Co-incident or what... Seen hanging out with the rest of the Scouts... Elwin, Dalton, Shuan, Henry, Zhi Hong.. The "saboer" of the class.. got Jan to sing lemon tree that time... <br /> <br />15. Low Jun Feng- Drums guy- the drummer of "something".. not bad.. seen reading japanese manga in class.. comics and magazines... Brought Maxim one time... haha... acts punk/cool etc.. can't believe his in the choir... not your average sterotype of a choir member right? our school choir gettting more punk.. haha.. <br /> <br />16. Timothy Misso- German guy... only trance of foreign blood in our class.. Jeremy John's part indian... well, his grandpa's german... so according to genetics and heredity... and hey presto, you get Timothy.. Can really see his german side in his facial features and voice... Also the Assistant Band Major... Me being the Deputy Band Major, just for the record... <br /> <br />17. Sylvester Neo- "Fat Cat"... Thats what his partner, Addison calls him... Really get the resemblance... haha.. also part of the O.M. team, along with Addison, Januarius and Gerald... <br /> <br />18. Ng Jia Qing- "Qing Mei" Accomplice in crime of Heng Tee.. Seen talking about warcraft with him... Actually don't know how he got that nickname... anybody knows? <br /> <br />19. Dalton Ng- Chairman guy... Class chairman of our class... Sang with david during English lesson, quite nice actually... pokes fun with the rest of the class.. this is what makes our class interesting... <br /> <br />20. Daryl Ng- Rich guy... handphone, watching, bag, not your average kind... branded of course... Seen in the canteen, not finishing his food... gets critised by Heng Tee.. telling him to think of the farmers... <br /> <br />21. Joel Ng- Teacher's guy... Father's a teacher in our school... often gets picked on by that fact... accused of picking his nose and eating it... gross.. whole class often picks on him.. poor guy huh?? <br /> <br />22. Gary Ong- Fries guy... Don't know why, but Alfred keeps asking him whether he wants to go and eat cheese fries... owes him or something... no idea... <br /> <br />23. Elwin Quek aka Duckie- Physics guy... From his surname apparently... thats where his nickname comes from... again, seen with the rest of the scouts... also good in his studies, physics especially.. <br /> <br />24. Shuan Sim aka Mole- Mole guy... if you have seen him before, you'll know why he's called mole... no, he doesn't leak top secret infomation from agencies, nor does he dig into the ground.. Ever seen Austin Powers? You know what I'm talking about.. <br /> <br />25. Alfred Tan aka Smoker- Self-proclaimed good guy.. Don't really know the origins of his nick... probably just a joke or rumor... texas 5 or something... another one of the "saboed" in the class.. another of the Top 5... <br /> <br />26. Tan Yu Bin aka Binny- History guy... From his name of course... Binny... The brain-child of Zhi Hong.. Seen with David... His backup history lifejacket.. Last min ask him to teach him some history.. Just before the exam starts... Naturally History would be his best subjuct, if not why would David bother to ask him... <br /> <br />27. Gerald Tan- Large guy.. When I say large, I mean large... you know what i mean.. don't want to dwell on that.. Also comes a large amount of determination... doesn't give up that easily.. especially his shuttle run... even our PE teacher comment on his determination..., says he should a role model.. Altough he didn't get anything for the NAFA tests, the process is worth the while... Also the Deputy Drum Major... <br /> <br />28. Henry Tay- English guy... although his not the best in English or anything, he's the english rep... as said before, hangs out with the rest of the scouts... has a dog at home, told me... Henry, if you're reading this, don't mind if you send me a picture of you dog?? <br /> <br />29. Darren Teng- KS guy... don't really know if he's truly "kiasu".. or he's just a typical Singaporean... Lives in a semi-detached in Serangoon.. Has a younger brother.. Kinda looks like him.. Just need to say the word "free" and the class automatically links it to him... Weird? <br /> <br />30. Aaron Toh- another NCC guy... seen dicussing NCC stuff with Alfred, Gary, Joachim.. Xavier too, don't really know their relations... Xavier's somewhat the NCC's pet.. haha <br /> <br />31. Wei Xun- Unexpected guy.. If looks are decieving, this is the perfect example... He doesn't look very intelligent if you meet him for the first time, but don't be decieved.. Another of the Top 5... New teachers always gets his name wrong the first time... We have a good laugh after that... <br /> <br />32. Daryl Wong- AVA guy... 1/2 of the AVA crew in our class... Disappears before every assembly.. In charge of the AVA equipment in the hall.. Also the fit guy.. If you compare his primary school photos with him now, you'll notice some differences not only his face... Muscles like Woah... <br /> <br />33. Xavier Chua- Cool talk guy...
